Interplay Entertainment Corp. Announces Appointment of General Counsel
INTERPLAY ENTERTAINMENT CORP. ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF GENERAL COUNSEL
BEVERLY HILLS, CA, July 20, 2009—Interplay Entertainment Corp. (OTC BB:IPLY) today announced the return of Christopher J. Nelson, Esq., to the Company as General Counsel.
Founded in 1983, Southern California-based Interplay Entertainment Corp. develops, publishes and licenses video game software. The Company has produced and licensed titles for many of the most popular interactive entertainment software platforms in the action/arcade, adventure/RPG and strategy/puzzle categories.
Nelson returns to Interplay after years of representing video game companies in software development and licensing transactions. He previously worked for Interplay as an in-house attorney from 2002 to 2004 managing all transactional and litigation matters. Nelson's background also includes extensive experience in employment and commercial litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants. Throughout his career, he has successfully recovered more than sixteen million dollars for his clients. Nelson obtained his juris doctorate with honors from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1999. He graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 1993, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science.
